I haven’t bought a pop album in about a decade, but for some reason I’m really enjoying the new album by Mark Ronson; lots of funky horns and jazzy riffs. That’s why…

Or it might be the video for Oh My God featuring an animated Lily Allen doing a ace homage to Jessica Rabbit. Who didn’t have a crush on Jessica Rabbit, for at least 15 minutes sometime back in the 80s (was that the 1980s)? The scene with cartoon Lily enjoying a drink is pretty hot for a cartoon. I think so.

Czeck it out:

A Nad Shot = A strike to a man’s gonads. A Nad Shot Website = a website filled with dozens, if not hundreds of pictures from pop culture of men taking shots to their gonads. Funny to some, painful to others. Safest when it’s a cartoon. Even Wolverine isn’t safe; well, at least we know they’ll grow back in his case.

If you enjoy this stuff (and I kinda don’t) you’re experiencing what they call schadenfreude.

And yeah, I walked out into the ocean during this one. Not sure which is more impressive: the costume, or the fact that it is October 31st and the ocean is warm as a bathtub (in New Jersey).

The highlight of the night came when a dude, fishing on a nearby bridge, walks over to me with pole in hand and told me to “watch out”!

Look at this VHS I bought for a dollar at the Sea Bright library. Look at it with your eyes, and know in your heart that it is awesome. Of course, that’s a chimp, not a monkey. “He’s one high tech super chimp & He’s the best super-Ninja secret agent football star monkey hero around.” 3.5 out of 10 stars on IMDB — what do they know? People talk about the credibility of Wikipedia, but the IMDB is no better.

Before there was Borat or Ali G, there was Super Greg.

Back in the day, the interweb was overflowing with cool, vintage Halloween music. Now it’s harder to find; a lot of bloggers gave up or gave in. (I can not  blame them.)

Tokyo Flash sells some interesting watches. They’re like from the future. I own a few, but the value of the US dollar is preventing me from buying more, or at least buying them all willy nilly. Any way, they’re running some kind of Zombie promotion for Halloween. And Zombies are awesome.

I wonder if zombies prefer emotionally unstable brains? Hopefully not. I don’t get enough sleep, and my emotions are running wild.
