New Peep Show

Peep Show E0504 is up on the YouTube, and it just keeps getting better. This episode revolves around Jeremy’s chance to inherit a small fortune (20 pounds — which he thinks will make him a millionaire), and Mark’s chance to be a war historian.

“Older people are still people, they’re just people who think when they open a new window on the computer, the previous window is disappeared for good.”

The humor is crass and offensive, but the situations are completely believable, and of course, hilarious.

part 1, part 2, part 3.

New Metalocalypse and Peep Show

Here’s one way to spend 40 minutes:

Peep Show season 5, episode 3: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3. New personal lows for the boys.

And the latest episode of Metalocalypse is up on Adult Swim for the next 6 days. Don’t bother clicking the link after May, 23rd. The episode is called Dethwedding. Pickles must attend his degenerate brother’s wedding, much to the amusement of the rest of the band.

Peep Show, season 5, ’sode 2

Someone posted Peep Show E0502 on the YouTube. part 1, part 2, part 3.

Be aware: this comedy is cutting edge, and what the British call “cheeky”. Proceed at the risk of compromising your morals and personal values.

Thanks again to Mr. Gav

String Theory and M Theory

I suppose String Theory and M Theory is pretty boring stuff for most people, but I find it amusing. Right before I fall asleep I watch this stuff — it gives me some wicked dreams. Here’s some videos for you.

Owen transforms into Papa Lazarou

Anybody watch Torchwood and The League of Gentlemen? Anyone else think Owen’s transformation in this scene was an homage to Papa Lazarou? The black eyes, gravelly voice, talking in tongues… Video proof.

BTW, a Torchwood or Dr. Who / The League of Gentlemen crossover would be fantastic. Pretty much anything with Papa Lazarou would be fantastic.

Dreaming of Jaguars

Two pints of Yuengling Porter (link) + one episode of Top Gear + Zig Ziglar = a night full of dreams about women and cars.

The story starts at home with a dinner of chicken tenders, an apple and two pints of Porter. After dinner entertainment was found on BBC America: the episode of TopGear (the greatest non-fiction television program ever — I’ll explain this at another time) where Clarkson showcases the Jaguar XKR. Then to the computer room to load Zig Ziglar on my iPod (and download Knoppix and Gnoppix, answer emails). Zig Ziglar is a motivational speaker (goals, etc). I dream when I drink, the XKR is undoubtedly the most beautiful automobile in its price range, and Zig’s telling me to set goals, which brings me to my dreams…

In my dream I bought a XKR silver convertible, and presented it to every woman I’ve ever loved (key: not lusted for — that would be a very long dream). Without fail, each woman questioned my rational for buying such an expensive vehicle ($95K before haggling), I lied to each of them about the price (said it was in the mid $30K range), but most importantly each woman absolutely loved the car — each woman complimented the car on its beauty and gleefully went for a ride. There, presented for you, a dream by a man with fully-formed frontal lobes; a dream that presents the true purpose of dreaming: to exercise mind through scenarios based on your perceived needs and desires. The mammalian/hunter brain running scenarios and scripts at night; testing, predicting and preparing your mind for the real life.

I would love to possess a Jaguar XKR, and it wouldn’t be a bad thing if women loved me for it.

Schlong (Ricky Gervais) vs. Dr. Who

Actually this is a scene from Extras, believe it or not, in which Ricky Gervais’ character plays an alien on Dr. Who.

Fudge Dalek

No, Fudge Dalek is not the name of my new prog/jam band, but it is a confection made by some folks and posted on Flickr:

I love sugary treats and Daleks are pretty interesting. Today I’m glad there’s an internet.
