The Comet 17P/Holmes now bigger than the sun. It doesn’t look bigger than the sun to the naked eye, and it isn’t more massive, but its dust atmosphere is larger. Go to Space Weather for more info and pictures.
You can see the comet if you look to the northeast after sunset. Of course, don’t try looking when it’s cloudy.
