Fudge Dalek
No, Fudge Dalek is not the name of my new prog/jam band, but it is a confection made by some folks and posted on Flickr:
I love sugary treats and Daleks are pretty interesting. Today I’m glad there’s an internet.

Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe - Christmas Special 2007 (1of3)
Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe - Christmas Special 2007 (2of3). The bit about soap operas is boring (for me at least).
Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe - Christmas Special 2007 (3of3).
NWA’s music might be considered inappropriate for children, but with some careful editing and insertion of new lyrics, it’s “right as rain”. This video from the BBC show Rush Hour should serve as an excellent example for young adults who want to continue enjoying their music collections without corrupting the children’s impressionable minds.
The scariest Santa Claus ever (video):
Papa Lazarou from the British Comedy League of Gentlemen.
When I was a youngster, the two things I loved most about Monty Python were the cartoons and a chance to see some nudity. As a middle aged adult (presuming that I’ll live to be 76, then I am in the middle) I can easily find nudity, but wacky animation is harder to find.
B3ta has been an oasis of Monty Python style animation for some time. Classic examples include Jada and the Moon Song.
One of the stars of this type of animation is a cat named Cyriak. I came across this compilation of his animation today — it’s crazy and quite amusing.
More Screenwipe episodes have found their way onto YouTube. Screenwipe is a British TV program that eviscerates and dissects the medium of television. Screenwipe’s no bullshit presenter, Charlie Brooker, is honest, hilarious and informative. I wish there was a U.S.A. version. In spite of the fact that Screenwipe is a British show, I still enjoy it immensely.
Starting with Episode 2:
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E2P1.
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E2P2. This is a must watch for Dr. Who / Billie Piper fans.
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E2P3.
Episode 3 focuses on TV News:
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E3P1.
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E3P2. The rise and fall of the TV journalist.
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E3P3.
Episode 4 focuses on youth culture TV. Funny to watch Charlie dressed as a chav:
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E4P1. Wacky kids toy commercials.
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E4P2.
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E4P3. TV title sequences and theme music.
Episode 5 focuses on reality TV:
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E5P1.
Charlie Brookers Screenwipe S4E5P2. Charlie parodies Apprentice-like reality TV shows. All hail King Charlie!
Here’s something special from BBC’s Children in Need telethon: a miniature Dr. Who episode where Dr. #10 meets Dr. #5.
Donate to Children in Need.
Charlie Brooker on US TV: I missed the episode of To Catch a Predator with Chewbacca in it.
